IDS Infra Independent engineering.
Let’s talk

02 / OUR EXPERTISE

Technical depth.
Practical attention.

Six connected disciplines. One clear focus: independent support for your rehabilitation project.

01

Project supervision

An independent view, right where it matters.

Observe critical installation stages and connect site findings to the agreed inspection plan. Identify departures early, record them clearly and follow their resolution.

  • Review access, flow control and readiness before liner pull-in
  • Witness agreed hold points and monitor installation records
  • Maintain a dated observation and action register

02

UV-cured liner expertise

Specialist attention to a critical process.

Review how the proposed liner, host-pipe condition and curing configuration fit the project requirements. Bring unanswered technical questions to the responsible designer or manufacturer.

  • Check measured diameter, length and geometry against liner documentation
  • Review resin selection, handling conditions and curing instructions
  • Compare the recorded speed, pressure, temperature and lamp status with the approved method

03

Quality assurance

Confidence built on clear evidence.

Make the quality evidence traceable from the delivered liner to the completed section. Define the checks and witnesses needed before work starts.

  • Review the inspection and test plan and incoming liner identification
  • Track samples, laboratory results and non-conformances
  • Review CCTV, leak-test records and agreed acceptance criteria

04

Contractor support

Local challenges. International perspective.

Support contractors in turning a technical specification into a coordinated site plan. Clarify interfaces with the client, designer, laboratory and equipment specialists.

  • Review technical submittals and outstanding consultant comments
  • Coordinate project-specific questions with the responsible specialists
  • Provide on-site or remote support within an agreed assignment

05

Site coordination

Bring the moving parts together.

Keep preparation, installation, testing and third-party interfaces aligned. Address the site constraints that can interrupt a planned lining run.

  • Coordinate access, bypass arrangements and installation windows
  • Follow storage, handling and plant-readiness checks
  • Align inspection attendance, sample collection and laboratory arrangements

06

Technical reporting

Turn observations into useful decisions.

Assemble a clear record of the work and the evidence still needed for acceptance. Separate observations, test results, decisions and open actions.

  • Section register with liner identity and installation dates
  • Curing logs, photographs, CCTV and test-result references
  • An indexed handover review with unresolved items and recommendations

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

From site observations
to useful evidence.

01

An inspection plan

Agreed hold points, responsibilities, records and acceptance evidence before installation.

02

A section-by-section record

Liner identification, site observations, curing logs and test references connected to each pipe section.

03

An actionable handover

A structured review showing the evidence received, unresolved items and recommended next actions.

Deliverables are agreed for each assignment. The contractor executes the works, the responsible designer defines the structural design, and the appointed laboratory performs independent sample testing. IDS provides the agreed supervision and documentation review.

STARTING OR UPGRADING

A prepared crew.
A credible first project.

01

Define the work

Identify target clients, diameter bands, annual workload and a realistic first project.

02

Check readiness

Review crew training, existing plant, storage, power, laboratory access and the required client qualifications.

03

Plan a witnessed pilot

Choose a manageable first section. Agree inspection points, manufacturer involvement and acceptance tests before mobilisation.

04

Scale from the evidence

Review the pilot results, actual site output and outstanding skills before adding diameters, crews or equipment.

A planning framework for contractors starting or upgrading a UV-CIPP operation. Equipment supply, manufacturer training, rental and warranties are arranged with the relevant supplier. Discuss the independent technical support required from IDS.

SPECIALIST ATTENTION / UV-CIPP

Controlled light.
Careful oversight.

The right process depends on the pipe, liner system, design and project requirements. We help connect the installation with the agreed technical framework.

THE TECHNOLOGY / UV-CIPP

A new pipe.
Inside the existing one.

A factory-impregnated glass-fibre liner is pulled into the prepared host pipe, inflated and cured with ultraviolet light. The result is a structural lining, designed for the project.

HOW WE WORK

Good engineering.
Clear communication.

01

Understand

Your project, constraints and technical requirements. A shared starting point.

02

Plan

An agreed scope, clear responsibilities and the right inspection points.

03

Supervise

Independent observations, practical coordination and traceable records.

04

Report

Clear findings, technical recommendations and the evidence to move forward.

CLEAR ANSWERS

A little clarity.
A stronger start.

What does IDS Infra do?

IDS Infra provides independent engineering supervision and technical support for trenchless pipe rehabilitation projects, with a focus on UV-cured liners in sewer and water pipes.

Where is IDS Infra based?

IDS Infra is based in Taufkirchen, near Munich, Germany, and is being established to support contractors on projects outside Germany.

What is UV-cured pipe rehabilitation?

A liner is placed inside an existing pipe and hardened using ultraviolet light. Suitability depends on the pipe, liner system, design and project requirements.

Can you support an international project?

International contractor support is central to the proposed service. Share the location, installation method and programme so we can agree a suitable scope.

What should I include in an enquiry?

Include the country, pipe dimensions and use, rehabilitation method, planned dates and the type of technical support required. Confidential documents can be exchanged after an appropriate channel is agreed.
